The SOY lottery gives you the chance to increase the number of your SOY tokens. In addition, every time you play you help the token value because we burn 10% of the tokens from each bet.
Game rules TL&DR
You can buy a lottery ticket for 250 SOY, and you can purchase up to 25 tickets at a time, but there is no overall limit. Each ticket grants a random 3-digit combination with digits ranging from 0-9 (e.g. "1-9-3"). Matching numbers from the left side of the combination will earn you a share of the prize pool, with larger prizes for more matching numbers.
How to win
Match numbers, from the left side of your ticket, to the winning numbers drawn at the end of a Lottery round.
Matching even just the first number will win you a prize.
Match more numbers to win a share of a larger prize pool.
More tickets – less price!
Purchasing multiple lottery tickets at once comes with a discounted rate. You can buy up to 25 tickets in a single transaction, with the discount starting from a minimum of 2 tickets and increasing to 5% for 25 tickets.
Prize eligibility
There are a total of three lottery balls, from 0 to 9, on each ticket. To win, your numbers need to match the drawn numbers in the same order as the lottery balls, starting from the left of the ticket. For example:
In the example above, Ticket A, one of the ticket's numbers match the same drawn numbers from the left.
However, since the second digit does not match the drawn number, only the first digit counts as matching in order. This would win a "Match first 1" prize.
Example Ticket B is an unlucky one. Even though the last two digits match, the first digit doesn't match, so this ticket doesn't win anything at all.
You will only share in prizes from the highest prize bracket you are eligible for. A ticket matching the first three numbers will only be eligible for prizes from the match-three bracket, and not for the match-one or match-two brackets.
Remember: The digits must match in order, starting from left to right.
Prize sharing across prize brackets
Once the round is drawn and tickets with matching numbers are identified, prizes are distributed. The prize amount awarded to each ticket is determined by the number of tickets that won in the same prize category. For instance, if your ticket is the only one that matched three numbers in order and the designated share for your category was 2000 SOY, you will receive the entire 2000 SOY. However, if you own two winning tickets and two other people match three numbers in order, each respectively with one ticket, the 2000 SOY prize will be divided among the four winning tickets, and you will receive 2 * 500 = 1000 SOY.

Appendix: Update on SOY Lottery Rules (Effective June 2, 2023)
In line with our ongoing commitment to improve the SOY Lottery experience, we're implementing some changes to the game rules, which will take effect from June 2, 2023:
Minimum Bet Adjustment: The minimum bet will now be set at 10 SOYs. This change aims to make the lottery more accessible to a wider range of players.
Frequency of Draws: The draws will now take place on a weekly basis. The first weekly draw will occur on June 9, 2023. This change will allow players to have more opportunities to win and accumulate more SOY tokens.
